Tool News - 1-2-3 MicroGage
The 1-2-3 MicroGage combines the precision of the 1-2-3 Block and the dial indicator in a small compact footprint. The block, milled to 0.0001" tolerance, is used by machine shops as a precision measurement and set up tool. It measures 1" thick, 2" wide and 3" high (1-2-3!). The dial indicator, which has 1" travel, is able to move the full length of the block and is held in place by rare earth magnets. This design provides smooth vertical or horizontal dial indicator motion along the length of the 1-2-3 block. A lock screw lets you secure the dial indicator in any position on the block.
This tool is designed for nearly any workshop alignment or precision measuring application. You can configure it to measure your router bit height, router fence offsets, jointer blade adjustment, planer in-feed and out-feed rollers, tablesaw blade height and many other uses. Because of the conifigurablitity of the simple design and the precision of the block and dial indicator (you can measure to the thousandths of an inch), its uses are only limited by your imagination.
