Craftsman MiterMate

Tool News - Craftsman MiterMate Currently to determine the correct angle for two molding pieces to meet at a corner, calculations need to be made and rectified. The MiterMate renders those calculations unnecessary thanks to its Angle Finder tool. The Angle Finder automatically measures the angle, which then can be directly transferred to the saw. Users then move the fences and blade to match the Angle Finder setting, cutting both pieces to form a perfectly mitered corner joint.
The V-fence system pivots for accurate settings of both angles while the left and right sliding fences provide maximum support when making cuts. The MiterMater is powered by a 15 amp motor and 10 inch 40 tooth carbide tip saw blade for sharp and clean cuts. Also featured are telescoping steel extensions for added support, a horizontal hold down clamp and a dust bag.
