Hitachi Compact Pro Series 18v Drill Bellefontaine OH

Designed without the vertical cell chamber of a post-style battery, the new slide battery allows the DS18DSAL to have an ergonomically shaped handle. At half the weight of NiCd or NiMH batteries, this battery combined with the balanced tool body minimizes user fatigue and maximizes control and accuracy.

Hitachi Compact Pro Series 18v Drill

Tool News - Hitachi Compact Pro Series 18v Drill

Hitachi's new Drill is only 7.7” in length and weighs in at 3.5 lbs –definitely a not a heavyweight. It's comfortable and convenient to use all day without sacrificing the power and performance of a pro-grade 18-volt tool. It has two speeds and  a variable speed trigger. The clutch has twenty-two driving stages and a special mode for drilling making the drill useful for high torque applications and precision driving.

As with all lithium ion technologies, the DS18DSAL receives a steady stream of power for the duration of every battery charge, from the moment the trigger is pulled until the charge cycle is exhausted.
